The building is located 750 m. above sea level, a spot with occasionally sand storms in the summer time and snow in the winter time. The building consists of 10 classrooms is designed for cadets during their special training as officers.
Creating a defined area for education and training, which creates connection to the existing surrounding, the main square and the small forest.
Interior planning is based on modules, which can be combined together to form a larger space when needed, by using mobile partitions.
The orientation of the building to the east-west axis allows a classrooms façade, which turns towards the north or the south, which are the preferred directions.
Protection from sand storms was achieved by using internal patios. Classrooms are clustered around these internal areas, which are used for cadets activities such as rest, gathering, resting etc.
The exterior image represents the strong presence of the academy in the area, while the formal expression is a functional one.
